Unfortunately in America today, the threat of both international and domestic terrorism is a very real possibility. The Anti-Terrorism Video below was created for the citizens of North Florida through a grant by the National Urban Area Strategic Initiatives(UASI). The project was facilitated by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office(JSO)in cooridination with Federal, State, and local law enforcement agencies, as well as quasi and non-government entities in our area that are part of the critical infrastructure of the region or could be targeted for attack.

        The video is brief (8minutes) and was purposely written for a general viewing audience; especially parents, business owners and managers, and members of the media who want to educate the public about preparing for the unexpected and hardening our targets.

        The primary goal of any terrorism planning is the prevention of acts of terrorism. This can only be accomplished with the assistance of the public. We want to raise their awareness of this issue and educate them about simple things they can do to help law enforcement. Spread the word and help fight the battle against TERRORISM........
